Microsoft’s second largest R & D center in China


China is known to be a country where pirated copies of Microsoft software stamped are legion. The Redmond company was well aware and has often denounced this state of affairs, however, always taking care not to offend the sensibilities of these valuable allies in its quest for new markets. So when Windows Vista does not sell so well in the Middle Kingdom, Microsoft prefers to emphasize the efforts undertaken by the country in order precisely to fight against piracy and help in its struggle to significantly lowering the price of the OS in China.

Beyond this delicate attention, Microsoft is investing heavily in China.
