As the negotiations re-opened, Yahoo shares rose. Friday afternoon the latest trading, Yahoo shares rose above 1.70 U.S. dollars, to around 28.54 U.S. dollars, or nearly 6.5 percent; Microsoft shares fell 1.5 percent.

At the same time, part of Yahoo shareholders said they had received calls from Yahoo and Microsoft, because both sides are trying to proven major shareholders accepted the offer price.
