Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1 users


 

In Windows XP SP3 installing the IE8 Beta1 is no problem, so you can rest assured that the upgrade to XPSP3 and install IE8 Beta 1 to try new features. You can always uninstall IE8 Beta 1 and return to IE7 or IE6. It depends on your previous version of which is used.

     However, if you have installed on the XPSP2 IE8 Beta 1, Windows XP SP3 will not be available through Windows Update to you. This is because you upgrade to XPSP3, you will no longer be able to uninstall IE8 Beta 1, the control panel Add / Remove Programs to uninstall button in the grey that this will be referred to IE7 and before the question of the same reasons. As you may want to uninstall the beta software, we strongly recommend that you upgrade to Windows XP SP3 to uninstall IE8 Beta 1, to remove any deployment of issues, in XPSP3 installed after the installation of IE8 Beta 1.
